Favorite Classic Lasagna

Tomatoes are gorgeous. 
I love the way they smell and their sweet goodness. 
I ate three San Marzanos for lunch right off the vine in my garden, warm from the sun. 


For the week of September 18th, 
we end the summer season with a few of my favorite things
---tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella ---
with warm comfort food and fresh flavors. 

THE BEST EVER CLASSIC LASAGNA
with Italian Sausage & my homemade Ricotta 

BASIL BUTTER GARLIC BREAD
using Basil from the garden and our homemade Garlic spread

and your choice of Salad: 

CLASSIC CAESAR SALAD
with delicious house crisped Croutons

or

MY FAVORITE CAPRESE SALAD 
drizzled with the most beautiful Balsamic Vinegar reduction

Asian Noodle Salad w/ Ginger Glazed Chicken

There's an end-of-Summer Heat Wave in the forecast. 
It's too hot to cook, so let us make your dinner...


  • CHICKEN BREAST with Soy Sesame Marinade and topped with a Ginger Glaze
  • PICKLED CUCUMBERS & RED ONIONS
  • ASIAN NOODLE SALAD, Linguine with Red, Green & Yellow Peppers, Napa & Red Cabbage, Scallions, Cucumbers, Bean Sprouts, and Cilantro... tossed with Sesame-Lime-Ginger Vinaigrette and topped with chopped nuts.  

This dinner is perfect for a hot, end-of-summer night. The Asian Noodle Salad is best after the flavors marry for a few hours. We'll arrive early in the day to prepare so the flavors will shine by dinner. The chicken is marinated overnight, then cooked at your home. The ginger glaze is a lovely finish. It's delicious served cold, at room temperature, or warm, you pick. The Pickled Cucumbers & Red Onions are tart & sweet and perfectly in season.
